11/7/2019 Crystal Reports .net Framework 2.0 X64
HI,I am getting the following message when trying to install the version 13.0.1 of the Crystal Reports Runtime:'This software package can only be installed on systems that has installed.NET Framework 2.0 or higher.' The CR file is CRRuntime64bit1301.msi (Crystal Reports Runtime for.net 4.0 sp1).The OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit Spanish running on a VMWare virtual machine. The OS has few things installed. The Windows 7 Service Pack 1 is not installed.
I have a VS2005 web app that I am trying to move from my local workstation to a dev server. It runs fine locally. When I move to the dev server I get the error 'Could not load file or assembly Version 10.2.3600' So I looked in WINDOWS/ASSEMBLY andsure enough my local machine has version 10.2.3600 and my Dev machine has version 10.0.3300.
I found a post that says to run Crystal Reports for.NET Framework 2.0 Windows Installer (CRRedist2005x86.msi) on the server when you are deploying a VS2005 withcrystal reports app. My Question is:If I run the Crystal Reports for.NET Framework 2.0 Windows Installer CRRedist2005x86.msi, will it overwrite my 10.0.3300 assemblies that are already there? There is another developer with apps that use the 10.0.3300 assemblies so I don't want tooverwrite them.
€ Don't know why this Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium worked with a.NET 20 application and Crystal Reports for.NET 2.0 for a NET Framework 2.0 is already present on the target system. Both MSI installers The SAP Community is the quickest way for users to solve problems, learn more about SAP solutions, and invent.
